Late 1993 16V models were introduced in mainland Europe

June 1995 16V 4-cylinder models introduced to UK with ABS, twin airbags, electric windows/mirrors as standard, Viscodrive on Turbo model

October 1996 20V 5-cylinder models introduced in UK with new colour schemes, Sprint Blue option only available for Turbo model. Revised interior and new front grille, high level brake light, new wheels and Brembo front brake calipers for Turbo.

July 1998 Limited Edition model on sale with 6-speed gearbox and many extras as standard. Available in Black, Red and various shades of gray with special numbered plaque.

March 1999 New version shown at Geneva show, introduced in UK later in the year with many extras from LE model as standard on the 20V Turbo Plus.

June 2000 production ceased
