Saltina Valombrosa is not completely restored, but a visit is highly recommended. When seeing places like San Gimignano and Saltina Valombrosa and trying to imagine how these places have been I can only conclude that people must have been crazy. Without these crazy people, the world had been boring. For sure!

Our route to Italy had been across the Brenner Pass and through Bolzano, Trento, Verona, Mantova, Modena and Bologna. A visit to Modena and Bologna had also been done two years before. Including a stop in Maranello. Unnecessary to say why? The Apennines had been crossed both along the autostrada and along the country roads. This year we took the fastest route from Bologna through Firenze and to Regello.

We had an invitation to visit friends in Luxembourg. The route north was going via Pisa, Genova, Allesandria, Vercelli and Aosta. Beautiful areas. The tunnel through Monte Bianco was still closed after the fire. The weather was nice and we decided to cross over the mountain. Wonderful. After a few days in Luxembourg we headed further north.

In about 40000 km I'll do it again. Go to Italy to have the Coupé serviced. For sure!
