I had agreed to pick up the Coupé between 1600 and 1630. Since we had most of the day by ourselves, we visited famous places like Sienna and San Gimignano.
Back at the service center, the Coupé was almost ready. Only cleaning the windows were left.

I told Andrea that he got his Punto back with a little more fuel than it had in the morning. Not so easy to explain this. By showing him the fuel gauge, he understood. And…..,

...was about to pay me for the extra fuel. No, no! Andrea must have felt that he owed me something. He went to the parts store and returned with a complete set of new floor mats for the Coupé. What a deal! The cost of the inspection including parts and labor was lower than he had estimated. The total cost was about £750000 (Italian) cheaper than a similar service in Norway. Not including a free car and a set of floor mats. Guess where the next main inspection will be done? We left with the Coupé very satisfied. The "fattura" was very exactly specified. Parts with prices, working hours, etc, etc. And the maintenance record book stamped and signed.
