:: A trip to Italy

A few very eventful days in Torino in July1999 left huge traces in my memory. So great that it started a new era: Before and after FIAT 100 year anniversary. I had been to Italy both on business and holiday trips. Nice memories only. These days around 12th of July were so overwhelming. An invitation to Torino could not be declined. My wife gave me permission and I didn't hesitate to leave. Not to stretch the band too much, I vent by plane. Compared to driving I would spare at least six days. Some would say flying was not very exciting compared with driving the Spider. I just didn't have all that time.

Already in February next year the planning for the next trip to Italy was done. This time I traveled by car and together with my wife. We had booked an apartment at a Tuscany farm.
